803 Studios began on a whim after Steven Prouse and
Charlie Brown decided to self-publish a collection of
four short stories from artists and creators in the
South Carolina – Georgia region. “We saw
a lot of talent sitting around us with no real outlet,
and we decided to be that outlet… at least for
one issue”. After a great response to our premiere
issue 803, the Studio was
born and a second issue was slated for 2005. We haven’t
stopped since. We have also turned our attention
away from the typical comic book and have started developing
professional and promotional graphic publications.
With our latest anthology, Sequential
Suicide, slated to debut Mid-February at Megacon
in Orlando, FL, we’re working hard to do our part
to promote fresh talent.
803 Studios has expanded and is now offering design
and printing services for business cards and logos,
promotional material, and graphic publications for marketing
and internal communications purposes. For more
information on what we have to offer, see our service
listing.
803 Studios has expanded to eight members and is growing strong. If you’re interested in submitting work to our studio, be sure to check out our submissions guidelines page.
Feel free to join the 803 Universe. Check out our latest member roster. See what’s new with the studio. And join to see what all of the buzz is about.
